Jennifer Berkner joined AT&T Services, Inc. in 2021 and serves on the Market Strategy Team for FirstNet, Built with AT&T. Jenn builds and maintains key strategic relationships with educational organizations, specifically focusing on student safety. She is responsible for curating research to inform market strategies and implementing those strategies to support FirstNet initiatives. Before joining the AT&T team, Jenn spent most of her career in public education. She started as a high school language arts teacher and moved into a district role as a tech integration and media specialist. In addition, she has also worked as a tech director for a small rural school in Minnesota where she resides. Under her tenure, the district implemented a 1:1 device program, created a robust online learning environment, and navigated the ups and downs of remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has earned national certificates in Online and Blended Learning and is an ISTE Certified Trainer and Educator. Jenn is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a BA in English Education and of Minnesota State University- Mankato with a MS in Library Media Education. She keeps her two teaching licenses current and is actively involved in many local and national organizations to stay informed with the emerging trends of technology in education.
