Jim McMillan is a lead product manager within the AT&T FirstNet product team supporting FirstNet products and initiatives nationwide.  In his current role, Jim works closely with customers to ensure the products being developed fit the public safety need on the first and only nationwide, wireless network built with and for first responders. Jim has over 20 years of experience in technology including designing and implementing some of the early next-generation cellular networks.

Jim recently re-joined the AT&T team after serving in various executive leadership positions at Harris County, including having division oversight for the pre-FirstNet Band 14 network buildout, the regional land mobile radio system, public safety and justice technologies, software development, and physical security of the County.

Jim has spoken at many local and national conferences throughout his career such as IWCE, APCO, and many others.
