Scott Agnew

Scott has over 25 years of professional experience managing strategic corporate initiatives, mobility and wired market development and application solutions in the telecommunications industry. For the past 22 years, he supported Law Enforcement, Fire, Emergency Medical Services, and other Public Safety nationwide organizations transforming their communications technology. Most recently, he led strategy and policy for FirstNet. Scott is currently head of FirstNet Operations and Distribution Scott began his career with Lucent technologies where he gained a strong foundation of voice and data telephony and a solid understanding of customer premise equipment (CPE). In 2001, Scott moved into supporting the Public Sector with AT&T as a Mobile Application Consultant. Scott worked with the Public Sector Team to identify, develop, implement, and support mobile application solutions for Public Sector customers. Scott was responsible for implementing hundreds of mobile Public Safety solutions and gained expertise in mobile CAD/RMS, wireless ticketing, LPR, AVL, variable message signs, and field force automation. Scott spent the last 11 years with the AT&T FirstNet program where he led various FirstNet-AT&T organizations resulting in the build, operations, and maintenance of the largest public safety broadband network in the world. Today, Scott is responsible for all operations and distribution for the FirstNet network. Scott currently lives in Maryland with his two kids. In his free time, he participates in running marathons, he has completed 10. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
