Brian Maholic is the Director for FirstNet Mission Critical Solutions in based in Dallas Texas. Mission Critical Solutions is a National Strategy team focused on FirstNet Technology and Sales Strategy. Prior to this role, Brian was the FirstNet Opt in Leader and Sales Manager for Texas. Brian joined AT&T for the FirstNet Program in 2017 with his first role being to drive the successful FirstNet Opt-In decision through the governors Single Points of Contact across Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada. As Director of FirstNet Mission Critical Solutions, Brian is responsible for a National team of FirstNet Strategy Experts. The focus of this team is to provide FirstNet technical education, strategy and partnership across the FirstNet sales, product and marketing teams. Brian holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and has been involved in public safety communications for over a decade. Before AT&T, Brian has held various positions in Land Mobile field engineering, product management and business development with previous employers Motorola Solutions and Kodiak. Currently residing in the Frisco area, Brian and his wife Erin have three young children and enjoy the outdoors, busy weekends and time with family.
