Carrie Johnson

FirstNet Program at AT&T
Carrie serves as the Director of External Affairs and Policy for the FirstNet Program at AT&T. In this role, Carrie has responsibility for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Policy. Carrie also leads engagement with rural and tribal stakeholders, working to advance the deployment of FirstNet infrastructure in rural and tribal communities. Prior to joining AT&T, she worked for a regional rural broadband provider based in Sioux Falls, SD. From 2009 – 2015, Carrie served as a policy adviser for broadband, tech/telecom and cybersecurity public policy in the U.S. Senate. Carrie has an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, a B.A. from American University, and a Certificate in Cybersecurity & Privacy Law from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
