Response Operations Innovation

BREAKOUT SESSION: INNOVATION SHOWCASE

Presentation Description:
Your ability to communicate is critical – especially during a crisis or a natural disaster. FirstNet® gives you the backup you need to stay connected, so you can coordinate your public safety response and quickly gain access to the voice and data you need in an emergency.

With FirstNet, you have access to the Response Operations Group (ROG). This dedicated team of former first responders works under proven National Response Framework/NIMS/ICS principles and understands your mission-critical needs. The team is available 24/7/365 and works with your agency to identify and deploy the best solution based on your situation – drawing on a fleet of 150 dedicated deployable assets, at no additional cost to you.

In the spirit of true partnership, the ROG, along with other FirstNet team members, works directly with first responders to address service reliability in times of critical need. The ROG continuously refines the scope of its abilities to help ensure public safety needs are met. This ongoing advancement includes developing and fielding emerging capabilities to deliver expedient, simple and effective capabilities to the field. Customers now have the ability to own and operate many of the same solutions utilized by the ROG. Customer ownership of broadband LTE equipment adds speed and flexibility as well as the ability to tailor solutions and processes to meet unique needs.

FirstNet operates on the leading edge of innovation in terms of augmenting and extending LTE coverage when your mission depends on it.
