Solution Development Manager for FirstNet Product: NG911 & PSAPs
FirstNet Program at AT&T
Within the FirstNet Program at AT&T, Suzette McLeod is responsible for introducing new connectivity-centric technology innovations to the public safety market and cultivating relationships with third-party providers that accelerate FirstNet adoption, revenue, and value. Currently her key focus is connecting the Next-Gen 911 dots between discovery of a need-for-public service and the information flow across emergency responders (from 911 call-takers and dispatchers to first responders in the field) with multi-media communications and live situational awareness. Most recently, Suzette played a central role in launching an end-to-end school safety solution with FirstNet, Intrado®, and AT&T. Suzette also volunteers as a FirstNet Health & Wellness Ambassador and Peer Supporter; helping field technicians address and build resiliency to the stress and trauma often associated with emergency response and disaster recovery.
Prior to joining AT&T, Suzette was a trusted advisor to the Department of Justice. At the Bureau of Justice Assistance, she led high-profile national information sharing policy programs aimed at enabling interoperability and responsible data sharing across jurisdictions and justice disciplines. These efforts included:

Directing the delivery of training and technology assistance to local, state, and tribal criminal justice agencies.

Advising the Attorney General’s Global Advisory Committee on information sharing and data management specifications for emergency dispatchers, law enforcement, court administrators, correctional managers, forensic labs, victim advocacy groups, and homeland security.

Architecting the National Body-Worn Camera Policy Toolkit and contributing to the development of police video policy for the President’s 21st Century Policing Task Force.

Implementing new systems to address U.S. Inspector General Audit Findings and U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee concerns about administration of the Public Safety Officer’s Benefits Program.

Suzette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and has an advanced education in Business Administration. She has maintained her certification as a Project Management Professional with PMI since 2007, recently completed her training as a Change Management Practitioner from Prosci and holds certifications as a ScrumMaster and Agile Product Owner.
