Todd Early leads Public Safety Business Development for FirstNet built with AT&T. In his current role Todd is responsible for Public Safety Business Development at a National level. Todd recently retired as Assistant Chief from the Texas Department of Public Safety (State Police) after serving almost 28 years and led the FirstNet Public Safety Advisory Committee for three years, serving a total of 6 years on the committee before retiring. Todd had oversight of the statewide Law Enforcement Communications Operations & Communications Centers, statewide land-mobile radio system, Fleet Operations, Facilities Management, and the Public Safety Solutions Center. Todd served as the Statewide Interoperability Coordinator (SWIC) for almost 10 years and the Texas Single Point of Contact for the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet). Todd has spoken at many National, State, Tribal and Local conferences throughout his career such as IWCE, IACP, APCO and many others.
